Q. How do I add a participant to my experiment (instead of them using the sign-up system)?

You can manually add a participant to an experiment via your research admin panel.

1. Go to your research admin dashboard ( and click the ‘Participants’ link next to one of your experiment names. Here you will see a list of current participants.

2. Click the ‘Add Participant’ tab and use the search box to search for users by surname, user name, or student ID.

3. Click the name of the user you wish to add as a participant. This user will now be registered as a participant and will appear on the participant list for the experiment. They can be managed in the same way as any other participants (eg. awarding them credits, emailing them, etc.)
