Hi
I am Head of Teaching in Accounting Department and Senior Academic in Accounting, Taxation and Financial Management at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. I have joined Southampton Business School since Sep 2014.
Prior to joining the University of Southampton, I was a Lecturer in Accounting at Aleppo University (2001-2004) and University of W.S (2012-14) UK. My research focuses on taxation, market valuation, corporate finance and accounting education. I have published several articles in these areas.
I have worked in accounting profession for two years and have a few taxation consultancy activities.
I am a UK Higher Education Academy Senior Fellow (SFHEA) and has been awarded with two prestigious awards the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Teaching in 2018 and the Dean Award for Teaching in 2016.
