The University of Southampton’s Optics and Photonics Society (OPSoc) engages in Education Outreach activities to cater for all audiences. Our society runs an Outreach and Public Engagement program called The Lightwave Roadshow, which aims to teach children about all aspects of light. The group’s mission is to get children engaged and interested in the wide world of optics and science in general. The Roadshow is run by PhD student ambassadors of our society.
