Awards

The MSc requires completion of 180 CATS  (90 ECTS) in total. Candidates who have satisfied the examiners and who have accumulated the requisite number of credits shall be awarded the qualification for which they have registered.
If a student chooses to exit the programme early or fails to achieve a pass mark in the dissertation (even after any permitted re-assessment), but achieves 60 ECTS, they may be awarded an interim award of a Postgraduate Diploma.

Candidates who  fail to complete all the Programme but complete at least 30 ECTS will be eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate.

Examination and graduation
All decisions relating to student grading and awards of Diplomas and MSc will be made by Senate on the recommendation of the Examinations Board.
