Studying at Masters Level
In accordance with the University’s Code of Practice for Research Candidature and Supervision (http://www.calendar.soton.ac.uk/sectionV/code-practice.html), the taught element of the programme is assessed at Masters’ level. The standard of the taught Masters degree is that expected of an Honours graduate who has successfully completed a programme of no less than 48 weeks of full-time study (or its equivalent) in a field for which prior knowledge and skills have provided an appropriate foundation.
